If There’s Denim, There’s A Way

I will start this post off by saying denim is life, denim is love. If you get that reference, I’m so sorry lol. Denim is like the fabric version of the color black, at least for my wardrobe. It goes with almost, if not, everything! There are so many different types, shades, and shapes of denim, you’d never get bored. I usually wear denim any chance I get, especially distressed denim.

For example, a few years ago, I purchased an over-sized distressed denim jacket and I’ve been in love ever since. When I say I wore, and still wear this jacket every chance I get, I mean it. I was, honestly, just surprised it fit. This jacket has been one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. Also, I have this long denim jacket that brings me joy every time I put it on. Denim jackets, depending on the style, can upgrade an entire outfit.

Another thing that makes denim amazing and versatile is denim shirts and dresses. White t-shirts used to be my staple, but I’m too accident prone, so I stay away from white clothing if I can help it. I love to layer my denim shirts under dresses or do all denim with a pair of jeans and fun shoes. As far as denim dresses, I
never would’ve seen them as an option for me because of my hips, but now I love the denim dress I have and I plan on buying more.

I say all this to say that denim is awesome, but we knew this already. Whether it’s distressed or dark wash, denim will always have a place in our closet. What’re some of your favorite ways to wear denim? Let’s chat about it. Love you guys! *hugs*
